A full restoration of an overgrown pond border in Harrogate, designed to bring back structure, improve planting and create a more balanced, natural feel. The area was cleared, reshaped and replanted with a mix of suitable species to complement the setting, resulting in a cleaner, more defined space that is both visually appealing and easier to maintain.

The client wanted to refresh and bring structure back to an overgrown pond border, improving planting, shape and overall appearance while keeping a natural, wildlife-friendly feel.

The area had become overgrown and lacked definition, with tired planting and poor structure around the pond edge. We cleared back existing growth, redefined the border shape and improved the soil before introducing a new planting scheme. The focus was on creating a natural, balanced look that works with the surrounding landscape while being easier to maintain long-term.
